Junior Account Manager

MBS Radio (Maritime Broadcasting System Limited) is a locally owned and operated group of 25 radio stations across the Maritimes. We are seeking applications for Junior Account Managers at Magic 104/K94-5/Choix 99.9. If you love to work with people and build business relationships while helping your client build their business, you could be the person we are looking for.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with an existing client base and develop new business to generate revenue to meet station budget objectives and goals
• Develop new revenue from assigned sales list
• Coordinate creative and promotional activities as it pertains to the account list
• Maintain account territory records, and current accounts receivables
• Represent Magic 104/K94-5/Choix 99.9 in the business community

The position requires a person with previous sales experience who:

• Understands the basic principles of marketing and enjoys the challenges of selling
• Is confident in their ability to attract new clients and can interpret client needs
• Demonstrates creativity in making sales presentations & is versatile in computer skills
• Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and French
• Is results driven with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Has strong interpersonal skills & is an effective problem solver
• Is a Team Player
• Bilingualism is considered a necessity
