MBS Radio (Maritime Broadcasting System Limited) is a locally owned and operated group of 24 radio stations across the Maritimes. We have a rare opportunity for a Swing Shift for Today's Country, Today's FX 101.9 in our downtown Halifax office.

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Energetic and natural style that relates to our target
• Country music knowledge an asset but not necessary. It's more about who you are communicating with than what music you are playing
• Great with the phones, familiar with Cool Edit for call editing
• Passion for involvement in the community that goes beyond station assignments
• Strong show prep and organizational skills to bring the best to your show in every break - you know that relating to your audience is more than just reading liner cards
• Selector experience an asset but not necessary
